FAVORITE WACO ANTIQUE/JUNK SHOPS

Once you've done Magnolia, the Findery and the Waco Mercantile downtown, head on over to La Salle Avenue where there's a great junk/antique trail of shops. Begin at the north end at Junque in the Trunk, 910 La Salle, and then pop into each of the shops on both sides of the boulevard, heading south. Once you arrive at the roundabout, try breakfast or lunch at Magnolia Cafe. BE SURE TO CHECK WHICH DAYS/HOURS EACH SHOP IS OPEN BEFORE GOING. Austin Avenue also offers some great shops (some are definitely pricier than La Salle but worth checking out). Riverside Relics, 1018 Austin Ave., is an over-the-top place, even for the inspiring displays. Just up the street in the 1500 block, you'll find more fun spots including Junque Queens.
