Fred’s Eatery is located in Aldgate Village. Posted here at Aldgate Providore but had change of ownership about 2 years ago and listing not updated. It is on main road of Aldgate. Bright green signage. Quirky, Popular restaurant to locals. Great coffee, cakes and lunch/brekkie. Can walk there (half an hour) by turning right at front gate down hill and take first left after crossing railway tracks. (Churninga Rd) Follow to reach Mt Barker road and turn right. Fred’s Eatery

Best coffee and quick, sophisticated, healthy bites. Cafe is part of high end bottle shop. Next to food land grocery shop (behind the Stirling hotel). Good up hill walk to get there from our place and downhill on return journey. Turn left at front gate and take path up hill until reach Johnston St (across from Stirling hospital) turn right and it is nestled in car park next to Foodland

Sister restaurant to Miyuki in Stirling. Our personal family favourite Japanese is Yuki in the Hills in Aldgate. Always fresh, delicious food in local, simple setting. Yuki more cosy and intimate than Miyuki.
