Take a walk along the bayou. Beautiful historic homes and in the winter you run into a manatee or 10. This is also a nice place to play tennis or use the play ground. At christamas there is a boat parade and the luminary lighting. It’s also the site of the largest epiphany celebration in the country in January. Check the calendar for other events.

Awesome beach and park area. You can kayak, do paddle boats, water bikes and paddle board. Lots of activities. With in 3 miles, easy parking, no fighting the traffic.

If you like arcades, then this will be a fun stop. It’s a one charge and you play as long as you want and as much as you want. This play is a hit with the kids and gamers.

The beaches just keep coming. These are all easy drives and beautiful, way better than the crowds at Clearwater.
This is an amazing experience, you ride the horses while they swim along the beach, its a little pricy but unlike anything else. It’s down in St Pete but worth the drive. Cponies.com

This is an amazing building with amazing art, they rotate exhibits but the Dali collection is a must see.
