It's a landmark and honors the original True Grit movie with lots of memorabilia of John Wayne and western movies of that era, including the late Dennis Weaver, a former resident of Ridgway. The inside brick wall appears in the opening scene of True Grit when Rooster Cogburn arrives with the prison wagon.
