Walking distance, this is an absolute staple and I highly recommend. Located in the heart of Tarifa old town you can enjoy a range of meet and vegetarian options, patatas bravas are a must. It's not possible to reserve, so show up early, write your name down and have a beer or walk around the old town while you wait.

On the higher end side, Silos offers great dining experience, with indoors dining only, if there is strong winds or bad weather it is a great option. Food is fantastic, great cocktails. Walking distance.

Local tapas and incredible Tuna, this place is one of my favorite restaurants in Tarifa. 4 min walk from the house, good value for money. Make sure you reserve beforehand, it gets busy.

Best coffee in Tarifa, great food and always buzzing with the local kitesurfers. Balash the owner is extremely nice and puts love into every cup of delicious coffee.

Hands down best view of Tarifa, Africa and Gibraltar straits. This hidden gem, that few people know is a go to meat restaurant, fish is also great. 15 mins drive from town, a great place to go after spending the day at Valdevaqueros or Bolonia beach. Especially in summer when traffic is bad. I would call beforehand and reserve a table on the terrace.
Located amongst the Roman ruins in Bolonia, right on one of the most beautiful beaches in the area, with a view on the sand dunes, well known for its fish. I recommend calling and booking a table beforehand.

Best paella in town! I highly recommend to book a table for lunch and enjoy one of their amazing paellas! Also great for a sunset drink with a beautiful view.

If Levante is blowing, go to this place and watch the kitesurfer's fly, few places in the world you can experience such a high level, this is because most of the Pro kitesurfes live in Tarifa, and Train in Balneario. It is a small and very dangerous spot (due to the off-shore winds) so if your level is not high then I would suggest leave it to the pros. Valdevaqueros offers better conditions for all levels.
