You've seen it on the Olympics and maybe you want to visit in real life. This is a great year-round destination with incredible skiing in winter and hiking, mountain biking and golf in summer.
Kind of like Disneyland but featuring nature instead of characters, it's a master-planned community that delivers first rate adventuring entertainment.
You MUST have, at a minimum, winter tires to drive north of Squamish from Oct 1 to Mar 31. All season tires that have an 'M' or 'S' fill this minimum requirement.

In Vancouver we love to tear things down almost as quickly as we build them up, but this one historic neighbourhood has mostly survived the ravages of time and developers. Cobblestone tree-lined streets, funky shops, clubs, cafes and bars. It's just a sea bus ride away. You'll know you're there when the alleys have shopfronts, the clock billows steam, and myriad twinkly lights brighten the rainiest nights.
