This park has the absolute best play ground in the County. Just outside it is an outdoor workout station. On the property is a preforming arts center and they have outdoor concerts in the fall months. Plus a lot more! I recommend looking at their website’s events

Downtown has a really great Mexican restaurant or cafe Alfresco.
Caladesi is accessible by ferry off Dunedin causeway. Honeymoon Island is too. Both ate hreat for shelling and just being on a beautiful beach exploring is its charm.

I love this place! Don’t go on Sunday as they don’t do the live concert and that’s an amazing experience you won’t want to miss. They do have a children’s area but kids might get bored wondering around with you.

You can get a day pass and enjoy their mineral spring fed pool, hot tub, sauna and gym. I have often gone just to have a relax day, sometimes treating myself to a massage then a stroll downtown and a meal. So many awesome restaurants to choose from!
