This place will just grab you and roll you up in a breakfast hug. Dishes we recommend: The Hatchacado, Homefries Poutine, Vermonster sandwich, Crabcake benedict. Actually, everything on the menu is good, great french toast ask for whipped cream and berries on the side, it's not offered but I've asked and they delivered, in my opinion the french toast should come that way already but if someone in your party is looking for a dish with less bells and whistles the french toast is great. And if you drink, you must get the Bloody Mary or Mimosa. Get there before 8:30/9 for less of a wait (and because you're getting to the mountain by 9ish, yes?), if you get there between 9:30-12 on a weekend expect there to be some sort of wait it's usually not bad, they do their best but there's more people who want to go there than there are tables. There's lots of cute shops to pop into while you wait or stop by City Hall, it's unlocked! Large parties of 8 or more will want to consider splitting up if there's a wait. The service is usually good and expedient, the main 2 servers really know what they're doing.

This mountain is only a short drive and is some of the best skiing in Vermont! It's probably why you're here! Get there early to ensure you get a close parking spot in the top lot. Waffle cabins are CASH ONLY sometimes, I think it depends on the strength of their wifi but bring cash just to be safe. And of course, bring that camera because the views from the top are gorgeous! Don't like to ski? Tubing is at Jackson Gore which is right next door. And all the lodges have food and beverage!

Ok, you make a right onto Buttermilk Falls st across from the Jackson Gore entrance which will be on your left. Drive, keep driving, oh here's all the cars, this must be the entrance, NOPE, keep driving, skip those cars parking, they are 3 feet from gold. Drive to the end and park there and enter there. Those are the BIG falls, you will have access to better trails and views of ALL the falls, even the ones down below, and if it's summer people will be jumping in and having a ball! Your own private oasis in nature!

Drive, keep driving, oh here's all the cars, this must be the entrance, NOPE, keep driving, skip those cars parking, they are 3 feet from gold. Drive to the end and park there and enter there. Those are the BIG falls, you will have access to better trails and views of ALL the falls, even the ones down below, and if it's summer people will be jumping in and having a ball! Your own private oasis in nature!
