Just half an hour from Marrakesh you will find this lush, green valley, full of typical Berber villages. There is a market well worth visiting every Monday. Further in the valley you will find local restaurants serving traditional mint tea and tagines

At the same time make sure you visit Cafe Basha, in the same building. Here you can enjoy more than 200 sorts of different coffees and enjoy this pearl of a café.

This lovely place and Palace once belonged to Si Said, the brother of Ba Hassan and the Grand Vizir of Marrakesh. Renewed and restored a few years ago, it is now the national museum and contains a great collection of old carpets.
