Sage is amazing even if you're not vegan! They have ice cream, beer and tons of great food. It's super close and totally worth a visit. It's also really close to Stories Books & Cafe as well as the legendary Echo/Echoplex if you're up for some live music.

This is a cool Frank Lloyd Wright house up in the hills, about 10 minutes away. It's been in some movies and while the neighbors are likely sick of people driving by to view it, just go for it. It's a great side jaunt on your way to the Griffith Park Observatory.

2607 Glendower AveThis is a cool Frank Lloyd Wright house up in the hills, about 10 minutes away. It's been in some movies and while the neighbors are likely sick of people driving by to view it, just go for it. It's a great side jaunt on your way to the Griffith Park Observatory.
It's a super short drive, 10 minutes. Totally worth it for the views and all that.

85% of the time the booking at this music venue is pretty on point. I once saw a surprise Pixies show here, that was billed as a comedy night. I'll NEVER forget it. Weird Al even got up to sing a song and he NAILED it!!
