Enjoy gardens, this is only 4 miles from Smoky House and has some fantastic displays of flowers/gardens. We love this place.

About 45 minutes drive from Smoky House, this quaint village built on the cliff side has the most exquisite cobbled street leading to a harbour. Pony rides available, there is no other village in the UK like this.

The harbour is quaint, visit Damian Hurst’s Verity sculpture, catch a boat tour to Lundy Island or enjoy the thrill of a fast rib boat experience. Fish and chips on the quay with plenty of cafe’s offering great food and Devon Cream Tea’s.

This is a great beach for both surfing and dog walking
Approximately 180 miles of cycling heaven along what was once local railway lines. Covering most of North Devon from Torrington up to Ilfracombe, you will cycle through amazing countryside, beside the River Torridge and River Taw, get close to some of Devon’s best beaches where no car can access. Don’t forget to bring your bikes as this is a must do when here. There are also bike hire places along the route.
