The Sculpture Forest experience, which is unstructured and unscripted, is ideal for families looking for an interesting outing, for those who enjoy outdoor trails, and for people looking for a unique artistic experience. Featuring a unique outdoor collection of sculptures by Canadian and international artists, the trails are easy to walk or bike ride and they border on picturesque Head Lake near the village of Haliburton. Access is free and you can take a guided tour Tuesdays - Thursdays in July & August. Get to the sculpture forest either from the Haliburton Highlands Museum (take Bayshore Rd off Hwy 118) or from the Haliburton School of Art & Design (aka. Fleming College)

With over 400km of trails for all experience levels, plus an amazing treetop canopy tour that has the longest canopy boardwalk of its kind in the world. At 10-20 metres above the ground, walk through the treetops and see beautiful views of Haliburton Forest from above.

There are always many fascinating things going on at this beautiful campus, plus music and theatre performances throughout the summer. Access the Sculpture Forest from the campus for a delightfully inspiring walk featuring a unique outdoor collection of sculptures by Canadian and international artists.
Explore the fascinating history of the Haliburton region, take in a live music performance, or bring the kids for fun activities as part of Heritage Happenings. The main gallery has exhibits relating to the first inhabitants of the region, the native peoples, who were followed by the first influx of lumbermen and settlers.
