This place serves the best mac and cheese if it is one of your favourite dishes! It is also a popular choice for its craft beers and cocktails. So, best to grab a table on the Leith walk kerb or escape out the back to the garden through the Narnia wardrobe for a breath of fresh air.

This is at the end of my street and a huge temptation for me to indulge in their fresh bakery goods and fresh coffee, including the most amazing doughnuts! A must visit during your stay.

Stockbridge has something of a village atmosphere about it, although it is only a ten to fifteen minute walk from Edinburgh city centre. Stockbridge is to the North edge of the Edinburgh New Town and it melds into Inverleith to the North and West. It is alongside the Water of Leith one of the main rivers running through Edinburgh.
The area is characterised by the many delis, small restaurants, cafes, and pubs and also a weekly Sunday market, which is a must visit.
