Panchos Takos is good but El Carbonocito is better. Rick Bayless (Celebrity TV Chef on Mexican food) named this place one of his all time favorites for Tacos. Opens late and stays open early.

Great casual restaurant where you can sit on the beach. Small bar next door that has all the local beers if you have to wait for a seat. Look for Tortugas (Giant Turtles) they are known to come right up and start laying eggs.
Try the Grilled Octopus. Prices are great.

Ride a donkey into the bar! Dance on the bar. This is the number one hot spot in all of Puerto Vallarta and a vacation is not complete without stopping at least once. Surprisingly good food too.
