Older than the Egyptian pyramids, this is a mystical and really interesting Irish historical site. A must see for anyone interested in history! Park at the visitor centre, the Newgrange bus will bring you out to the site. Nice little coffee shop. Only 25 minutes away.

It is bit of a spin to get to Carlingford Bay - but this place is so worth a visit! Carlingford is famous for its oysters and seafood restaurants and is surrounded by breathtaking mountain walks. Authentic Irish pubs with good Guinness. Approx 45 min drive from Drogheda.
