This is a fantastic example of the genius of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The ambiance inside is sublime and as it’s only a few minutes from the apartment it’s really worth a visit. Did I mention they do coffee and cake!

This is a little place easily missed. The gardens are truly lovely and a great place for a picnic. Great on a sunny day.

You’re in Helensburgh so you need to visit Loch Lomond - there’s a good reason it’s regarded as one of the most beautiful lochs in Scotland. (In Scotland we have ‘Lochs’ instead of ‘lakes’). It’s truly beautiful and there’s no better way to see it than from on the water.

Balloch RoadYou’re in Helensburgh so you need to visit Loch Lomond - there’s a good reason it’s regarded as one of the most beautiful lochs in Scotland. (In Scotland we have ‘Lochs’ instead of ‘lakes’). It’s truly beautiful and there’s no better way to see it than from on the water.

This is one of our favourites. The food is great and has a great atmosphere. The Portuguese custard tarts are superb! It’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
