One of the best local mountain bike rides around and the start of the infamous Great Lake Trail (Whakaipo to Kinloch W2K). From here you can ride to Kinloch through native bush with amazing views of Lake Taupo. Include the Headland loop for the best views ever adding an awesome 10 km's of trail to your ride.

Are you up for full days ride through beautiful Native forest? You will want a shuttle to the start or pick up from the end. This track starts off with a long descent into the follow, which of course means a long climb out the other end. But well worth the effort of all 42 Km
