Hilkemeyer General Store rents canoes for the Gasconade. Not sure if they have kayaks. The Gasconade is a bit bigger than the Piney River, and slower paced, but still a lovely river for a float. Because it's a little larger, you may see an occasional motorized boat.

The Park also has a very nice swimming beach.

This is a really unique place to go for a swim! It's a repurposed rock quarry with fun for all ages with rocks to jump from, sandy beaches and fun in the sun.

Hiking
Hiking Painted Rock Conservation Area which follows upland hills overlooking the Osage River is wonderful. The Osage River is too slow for tubing or canoeing. Painted Rock is 8 miles from the farm.
