If yinz don't go here, everyone you tell about your trip to Pittsburgh will ask you if you had a Primanti Bros sandwich and if you say no, they are going to wonder why they are even friends with you. Believe me when I say you shouldn't need to eat for the rest of the day, but it's just one of those things you gotta try once! Or you could not - and say you DID. I think this is the original location, but don't quote me on that. There are several others as well if you want to try squeezing it into your existing plans elsewhere.

This place is located right up on Shiloh Avenue, next to Grandview Ave (where the lookout is). The staff is great, the atmosphere is one of the best on Mount Washington, low-lit and cozy yet fun because they have an entire corner filled with board games, great music, and their cocktails are incredible. I highly recommend the Old-Fashioned, they use fresh muddled orange and those new fancy purple cherries, the big round ice cubes, I mean come on!

The folks at Coughlin’s Law Kitchen & Ale House serve cocktails and dreams. They also have an awesome burger that comes in a smoke-filled glass cloche.

If you love craft beer, you'll love this place! I don't actually know that. I've never been to a brewery, but I assume the people that like them like them all? Plus, Southern Tier is the maker of PumKing which I happen to know is delicious!

This is a lovely church located up on Grandview avenue. This is the church that overlooks the city and is lit up at night, super visible from PNC Park and Heinz field. Whether you're looking for a place of worship or just want to check out some architecture, check this place out! Unless there's a wedding happening, that would be awkward.

If you are not the adventurous type, there are boring clipper river cruises which will take you around. But if you like to explore, kayaking is the best option.
The river ride gives you a great view of downtown city of Pittsburgh and amazing view on the other side of the river of the city spread over the hills.
Be ready to sweat it out a bit especially if the weather is a bit warm.
The kayaks have the option of solo kayaks and 2 person kayaks which is a great option if you have a family.
Overall a good Attraction and must do in Pittsburgh.
