Indonesian is part of the Dutch culture as they colonised Indonesia for many years and this cuisine has become a staple. This is one of our favourite Indonesian restaurants in Amsterdam. It's a very cozy restaurant - really nice to sit outside on a sunny day.

One of our favourite brunch spots which has Australian based food and area is cute. Wait for tables can be notoriously long but you can grab a drink in one of the brown bar cafes around the corner. Food is worth it.

One of our favourite brunch spots which has floor to ceiling windows and is situated in a lush green garden. Amazing food and proceeds go to help the underserved.
There can also be a wait, but the restaurant is fairly large so not as long as Bakers and Roasters. Very family friendly.

It has outdoor terraces with hammocks and an herb garden that they use to make their food. There's a separate area for the kitchen and dining. If you go, just enter the building and go to the 6th floor.

A 15 min walk from the apartment, situated on a cute street with many boutique stores. This Vegetarian restaurant has amazing food for a great price.
