My favorite beaches
Located on the west of Naxos, Agios Prokopios is the most desired and beautiful beach on the island- and one of the best in Europe. The soft sand stretches for 1.2 km, with golden streams of sun and gentle winds. It tends to be a bit crowded in July & August, but it's definitely worth a visit!

Located on the west of Naxos, Agios Prokopios is the most desired and beautiful beach on the island- and one of the best in Europe. The soft sand stretches for 1.2 km, with golden streams of sun and gentle winds. It tends to be a bit crowded in July & August, but it's definitely worth a visit!
The closest beach to Chora, is a spot to put your feet up with sunbeds, umbrellas, and cafes serving cold drinks. Ideal for families as the waters are quite shallow.

The closest beach to Chora, is a spot to put your feet up with sunbeds, umbrellas, and cafes serving cold drinks. Ideal for families as the waters are quite shallow.
The beach is about 4kms long and is also wide with beautiful soft sand and crystal clear water with varying degrees of turqoise. It's also much quieter and the sunbeds are more spaced out than other beaches such as Agios Prokopios and Agia Anna.

It consists of 2 beaches, the northern & the southern, seperated by an impressive hill. I would recommend the southern one, which is an endless sandy beach with amazing crystal clear and turqoise waters, perfect for swimming. The other part would be perfect for windsurfers & kitesurfers.

Mikri Vigla Beach
It consists of 2 beaches, the northern & the southern, seperated by an impressive hill. I would recommend the southern one, which is an endless sandy beach with amazing crystal clear and turqoise waters, perfect for swimming. The other part would be perfect for windsurfers & kitesurfers.
All situated around quite a large cedarwood park, surrounding an abandoned, unfinished all-inclusive hotel site, which recently hosts street exhibition art by Wild Drawings and other street artists from several places around the globe. A very interesting combination, worth spending at least half a day.
