Awesome historic downtown area to wander into the shops and restaurants. Chatham is the “elbow” of the cape.
After you’ve walked the down town area, make sure you see the beach lighthouse. It is beautiful.

The end of the cape. The light house is cool, but it’s a long walk. Bring plenty of water on that walk.
The town public beach (bay side) is great. Low tide you can walk forever.
The downtown area is worth walking through. Wonderful shops and eateries.

JFK memorial, downtown area, ferry to Martha’s Vineyard..... lots to do and see in Hyannis. It’s a tourist attraction for sure, but you have to do it at least once.
The park beside the ferry dock has an “artists alley” and you can find some neat things there.
