Leipzig is a cosmopolitan city with many kinds of restaurants, African, Syrian, Chinese, Italian, Vietnamese, Moroccan, Israeli, Indian, German, Greek, Turkish, Iranian, Palestinian, Iraqi, Japanese, Korean, Afghani, American etc. Some are near my place, some are not.
