There's so much to take in as soon as you step in to Barbacoa. Place to stimulate the senses--from Massive Twin Medusa figures in the lounge to stylishly plated entrees. Reservation is a must for dinner even during the week! Table side guacamole and the fire rock steak are incredible!

Guru always has fun experimental donuts that will
blow your mind, samples to try new flavors, and superb coffee. The maple bacon bar is my absolute favorite!

Fantastic food & beer!! Amazing, cool, rustic atmosphere in a great part of town. The burgers are an absolute must to have here -so mouth watering, juicy, and delicious. The beers are even better. There's something here for everyone! Highly recommended.

Table Rock Trail is a 3.8 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Boise, Idaho that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. Little to NO shade, no water, takes an average person about 45mins. The view from the top is incredible and highly recommended!

The pool is perfect for a hot day. Gets a bit crowded on the weekends, but the crowd is always friendly. Plenty of guards to keep people safe. As well as a pool there are tennis courts, a baseball field and small playground. Easy access for pedestrians and bikers as well as lots of parking.

The Village Theatre is also excellent and a great evening on Tuesday $5 night. There is a great selection of quality shops

I love going to the farmer's market every Saturday. There are plenty of local farms and businesses with great products at reasonable prices. It's always a good way to spend Saturday morning and very family friendly.

Barber Park rents tubes to float the Boise River. Transportation is provided by buses. I think floating the river throughout Boise is a great way to spend a sunny day!

This park has trails that go for miles. Popular with off road biking, hikers, and nature lovers. Great place to see local plants and birds. On the backside of the hill there are creeks and ponds. Beautiful views of downtown and Owyhee range on clear days.

Great park with mature trees. There is a lot of shade here which is great. The green belt cuts through this park and it is also home to Boise's zoo.

Getting There
From Boise, take Bogus Basin Road 13.1 miles to a small parking area just off of the road to the left. The trail begins from this parking area and the path is easy to locate below.
