If you are looking for a little bit of a drive, this is an experience you should have. Three Forks is a town of only 2,000 people but boasts being right next to Headwaters State Park (this is where the Madison, Gallatin, and Jefferson rivers form the Missouri). We recommend going for a walk around the park and then checking out this small-town cafe. Nothing special but tasty food and diner atmosphere.

We recommend going for a walk around the park and then checking out this small-town cafe. Nothing special but tasty food and diner atmosphere.
A classic and family run donut shop right next to the MSU campus. It is a favorite among students and donuts are only $1 a piece. Our favorites include the boston creme and peanut butter.

A little pricy but definitely worth it. Considered the best bakery in Bozeman but be sure to get there early. A lot of their items sell out and we recommend going there to get some fresh bread in the morning for your breakfast!

If you are willing to take a short drive to Belgrade or need to pick up someone at the airport, it is worth giving Curry Express a try. The place is nothing fancy but the family owners are great and all the food is very tasty.

A Bozeman classic breakfast place. This place has been around for years and has not changed much. Great food at a reasonable price. Make sure you get there early and for large parties expect a 20-30 minute wait. We recommend the pancakes and bison sausage.

A hiking trail that should be reserved for a clear day. Can easily be done in half a day if you move at a reasonable pace. Provides an opportunity to see the entire Gallatin Valley and if you are lucky...some mountain goats!

Obviously a must see while you are in Montana and if you have the time. The Gardiner entrance is located about 1.5 hours away from the house but expect to spend a full day in the park. Word of wisdom: Yellowstone is huge and has low speed limits so expect to do a lot of driving. Ask one of us for a good day trip if you are wanting to see a good portion of the park!
