The best breakfast in the county. They have freezers full of carry home cuisine, "Dinner Solutions" and "Sweet Tooth Solutions" Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan Options, Gluten Free Options. Check hours, they generally close at 3pm. Some baked goods, very basic. If you are looking for the BEST baked goods you have to go to Bobcaygeon Bakery.

One of our favourite places to get treats when we are at the cottage. The Triple Chocolate Brownies are to die for, love the oatmeal bread, and other things we have tried. I have a sweet tooth and Bobcaygeon Bakery is one of the best bakeries I have ever been too. It's worth the drive.
Bobcaygeon is such a great town. You can also check out local shops like Bigley shoes and clothing while you are in town.

A trip to Kawartha Dairy is mandatory. Best to go mid day on a week day or Saturday. Sunday afternoon on your drive home is the busiest time and you are looking at a 30 minute wait in line. There are so many flavours to choose from, including different ones like Banana Boat, Bear Claw, Black Raspberry Thunder, Salty Caramel Truffle, Muskoka Mocha and Orange Pineapple. The servings are huge.

12750 ON-35A trip to Kawartha Dairy is mandatory. Best to go mid day on a week day or Saturday. Sunday afternoon on your drive home is the busiest time and you are looking at a 30 minute wait in line. There are so many flavours to choose from, including different ones like Banana Boat, Bear Claw, Black Raspberry Thunder, Salty Caramel Truffle, Muskoka Mocha and Orange Pineapple. The servings are huge.
Upscale casual restaurant and microbrewery in beautiful cottage country on the shores of Mirror lake. Amazing food, equal to your favourite restaurant in Toronto. You MUST make a dinner reservation if you want a table. Always good to take a bar seat too.

9201 ON-118Upscale casual restaurant and microbrewery in beautiful cottage country on the shores of Mirror lake. Amazing food, equal to your favourite restaurant in Toronto. You MUST make a dinner reservation if you want a table. Always good to take a bar seat too.
Arts & Culture
We had no idea this attraction was available. It is next to a small art galley, the Agnes James Gallery (well worth visiting) and it was definitely worth seeing. – an excellent re-creation – the sample buildings were originals moved to this collective site. The cabin, a government standard for settlers of the time, was surprisingly well designed and constructed. We’re glad we had this opportunity to visit.

Minden Hills Cultural Centre

It is next to a small art galley, the Agnes James Gallery (well worth visiting) and it was definitely worth seeing. – an excellent re-creation – the sample buildings were originals moved to this collective site. The cabin, a government standard for settlers of the time, was surprisingly well designed and constructed. We’re glad we had this opportunity to visit.
Sightseeing
Farmers market shop, craft brewery, fantastic little petting farm and butterfly garden - so much for kids to check out. There was lots of organic treats at the gift shop/store and you can purchase local beer from the brewery (Haliburton Highland Brewery). They have a lot of property with trails for you to walk through. Kids will have a blast seeing all of the chickens and goats and other animals. A great time to spend a couple of hours exploring!
