We love this restaurant predominately for their dog friendly, incredibly cozy atmosphere, evening music with local musicians, and great food. The restaurant gets busy during weekend evenings, but is one of my favorite to read a book over a meal or have a quiet dinner the rest of the week.

If you are looking for incredible wood fired pizza, olive tapenade, and pasta, this restaurant is a must on every trip to Idyllwild. We love sitting on the outdoor patio in the heart of town. Dog friendly too.

Fantastic breakfast and pastries. This Cafe/Bakery is quite small and there aren't many tables, but very cozy, the owner is incredibly welcoming, and it's perfect to grab coffee and a pastry or to indulge in their breakfast. The cinnamon rolls are awesome and they are currently experimenting with multi flavored cakes that are truly delicious. We love going here on rainy days.

Parks & Nature
Lake Fulmor is a very small fishing lake, perfect for grilling or picnics on a summer day. I recommend visiting on your trip. The lake is truly breathtaking especially when the moss is growing on the rocks and the water is still like glass. You can walk around the entire lake in about 10 minutes. A good place to take a leisurely stroll.

Fairway is the main grocery store in town. There are also a number of convenience stores between Mountain Center and Pine Cove along the 243. The main grocery store closes between 7 and 9pm depending upon the season so if you need something after hours, the convenience stores are the best option, but they won't have the same selection.
