This new, hip joint has the best coffee vibe in town. Right in the heart of Joplin, it's a perfect spot to get some work done or catch up with friends. Local tip: the only local coffee shop drive through in town, just make sure you pull up to the side door.

This is a local institution. If you like wings, you have to stop here. Right off Route 66, the Memphis-style wings will change your life. Local tip: get a hightop table in the TV room and watch a game or ask to be seated in the original restaurant for a quieter dining experience.

We love brisket in our house and this is the only place in town that does it right. Located inside a gas station on the way to the airport, Woody's will serve you as much (or little) sliced brisket as you'd like. Local tip: Good for breakfast too. Pick up a breakfast burrito in the drive-thru.

Local tip: grab a milkshake and walk across the street to the foot bridge over the river for an unforgettable sunset experience.
