Ile aux Aigrettes is a nature reserve run by an NGO. It's the last coastal forest that's still how it would have been before humans. there are endemic birds and lizards as well as tortoises. The one and a half hour guided tour is great, it takes you through the woods on the island and the guides know a lot, highly recommended if you like nature!
