The promenade starting behind the Stavros Niarchos Foundation offers a fantastic walk alongside the Athenian seaside. From spring and summer on it is a most to take one day to explore the seaside places and beaches of glyfada, voila and voulagmeni!

If you have a day time to venture a little outside of Athens, follow the Cap of Sounio to reach the temple of Poseidon (which forms a triangle with the Acropolis and a temple on Aegina island). You can rent a car or book with one one the local bus companies for the day.

Why not go for a day or tow to one of the islands that are very close to the city: Hydra, Spetses, Aegina, Poros, Kea. Easy to be reached via ferry or flying dolphin or even with a sailboat...
