my favorite thai place within a 10-minute drive, the crispy garlic chicken is a must-have! unlike one of those cheesy strip mall places, it's stylish, sexy, has an extensive menu & great service!

one would think s/he was in LA walking in on a thurs-sat night. no one can work here unless s/he is hot. the food is pretty good actually and it's a great scene, with a stylish bar and large TVs.

many soccer teams played here--guests of mine saw david beckham play here in summer 2011! beautiful fields in a huge gorgeous park next to a river, with a bike trail running through it.

just a couple of blocks away, this paved running/biking trail runs many miles south through parks, over quaint bridges, by boeing, and alongside a river and through farmland and north to west seattle.

beautiful pebbly beach park that allows dogs, unlike in seattle where it's a $500 fine! fires on the beach allowed. the sunset view looking at the islands is stunning. only 10 minutes away.

a gorgeous beach park with a dog park, lots of real sand, a nearby marina, a great playground for all ages, bonfire beach parties, volleyball, a waterfront sidewalk trail, and amazing sunsets.

the biggest mall in washington state with over 230 stores, it's also very chic, with movie theaters, all kinds of stores, fantastic restaurants, and only 2 miles/a 10-min bus ride away.
