Brilliant old school Barcelona restaurant. Fantastic menu & quality / price balance is fantastic. I love their tuna steak & just about everything on the menu. Gets packed so go early or expect a wait.

Best Thai in Barcelona. Ok so maybe you didn't come to eat Thai food & on top of that you have to reserve & it's not close to the apartment..... but it's very good .... very, very good !

Been coming here for 20 years . Like a Barbecue in someones garden that just happens to be on a hill overlooking the city. Impossible to describe how to get here.... take a cab !

Very, very good tortilla here. They also do great Gallego dishes such as Pulpo a la Gallego & Lacon + they have a little terrace (watch your bags when using it ! ) and a menu del dia.

Lovely Cava / Tapas bar. 5 minute walk & just down from the Picasso museum. Perfect place for a a glass of cava on your way to visit Santa Maria del Mar or stroll around El Born.

Great Tapas . Probably more expensive than Bar Mundial but very , very good. Cal Pep & Mundial are the only two in the Barrio worth bothering with!

For me this is the best Ice Cream parlour in the old town & has been in Barcelona forever.... not just part of the chain ice cream parlour boom over the last few years! Try a glass of Horchata!
