Heavenly’s California Base Lodge is about a mile away, in the winter it’s a great place to access to the mountain, take the Tram for amazing lake views on your way up or ride the Gunbarrel chair up.

Nice trail close to the house for hiking or mountain biking, park at the top near saddle for quick access. There's a great boulder outcrop near the start with amazing lake views and sunsets.
