Closest Train Station to the house, 007 Bus towards St Heliers goes right past the front of the house and takes 10 minutes to Mt Albert. It stops just over the train tracks!

Sightseeing
Great views back to Auckland, the ferry is always a nice ride! Approximately 2 hour hike to the crater and back to the Ferry Terminal. I suggest catching one of the earlier ferries so you don't get stuck over there waiting for the afternoon ferry!

Rangitoto Island Scenic Reserve
Great views back to Auckland, the ferry is always a nice ride! Approximately 2 hour hike to the crater and back to the Ferry Terminal. I suggest catching one of the earlier ferries so you don't get stuck over there waiting for the afternoon ferry!

If you like walking along the beach, may I suggest going along from Mission Bay, Kohimarama to St Heliers. Lovely Coastal town with some great Cafes for a brunch/lunch spot!
