Oysters and clams!
Myrtle Rocks - A very popular oyster and clam harvesting beach. A federal fishing licence is required and the daily limits for clams is 75/day and 15 oysters per day...per fisher. Fishery Officers do frequent the beach to insure compliance with the law (fine are heavy). The beach is harvestable when a tide is below 5.5 feet. Check the two DFO closure websites (see house guidebook) prior to harvesting to ensure the beach is open.
