Well it's just iconic and upretentious and the fact that it's been around for over 100 years says a lot. Love the old pics around the place and friendly service.

Quite a steep little walk to the top but totally worth the view, and a great place to have a wee picnic.

Magnificent waterfalls - about 57 along the way during rainy months. Suggest you make a day trip of it....take the drive up to Mount Hood have a late breakfast brunch at Egg River or one of the fabulous brew pubs, cross over at White Salmon and work your way back on the Washington side to avoid the OR traffic.
