Very authentic Thai restaraunt, they change menu a bit every day. Very small place with like 5 tables, but also do take-out. Almost no "traditional" curries and such, very interesting food.

Best fries in hmmm.. definitely in Utrecht and in the top list of Netherlands. Burgers are also good, but not always in their top shape, but fries are just amazing! The potato they use is something out of this world.

Nice coffee place in cozy neighborhood, close by historical park-street Malibaan. Great atmosphere.

Essentials
Small secret - Jumbo has the best croissants I've tried here. It's kinda ridiculous, but all the bakeries around don't come close to Jumbo. Not sure how it's possible but their croissants are fluffy, crunchy and buttery and cost almost nothing ;)

Relatively new city park 10-15min walking distance from home. Has a petting zoo inside the park which is open from Tue until Sun from 10.00-17.00 (it's for free) and couple of different restaurants near by/ on Blauwkapelseweg street.

With its many old trees and fountain, Wilhelminapark is one of the most beautiful parks in Utrecht. Built almost 120 years ago it has this special atmosphere. It is definitely a good place to cycle, exercise, go for a stroll or BBQ. Park is located 15min walking distance from home.

The house was built in typical De Stijl architectural style in 1924 by Dutch architect Gerrit Rietveld for Mrs. Truus Schröder-Schräder and her three children. It is a listed monument since 1976 and UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. Order tickets beforehand.
