Go to Jarras in Cashin Street for fresh vegetables grown on site and used in their meals. It is open for breakfast and lunch on Thursday Friday and Saturday. It's a fantastic place to buy freshly picked vegetables and ready cooked meals using much of their produce.

Reasonably good Indian food and quite inexpensive. Take away also available but call ahead on busy weekends. The samosas are good!

visit Eagles nest rock pools and learn about our dinosaur finds at The Caves. Find a lovely private sheltered cove to sun bathe
Bunurong Coastal Reserve
Just a 5 minute drive from our house
A fantastic 45 minute circuit walk along boardwalks and up to a lookout with magnificent views of Inverloch and Eagles Nest. Look up in the trees for koalas!

Kids and history buffs love this place. You go underground with miners hats on and learn about the areas history from amusing and knowledgeable guides. The highlight is catching a small coal car train back up to the surface.

Stupendous views of Cape Woolemai and the Bass coastline. Ask you host for details. Finish at the brilliant Kilcunda General Store cafe and soak in the sweeping coastal views.
