A pretty medieval town on the river Célé. Once home to Champollion who decrypted hieroglyphics, thus a museum. The Saturday market is dynamic and colourful, with lots of local produce.

Beautiful lake with a beach area with life guard attendance, a restaurant, playground and water slide, and shady barbecue area. Also more wild and natural circuit to bathe, go fishing, walk, cycle.
