If you like fresh beer, this is the place for you-- Ithaca Beer Company. Most of the time, the food is pretty good. Beware: they close down the kitchen at 9, and the bar at 10. They are also closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Two stop signs or about 2.5 miles from my house -- you could walk down but the walk up would be a challenge.

Farmer's Market
The Saturday and Sunday Farmer's Markets (April to Nov/Dec) have ambience, solo musicians, a lake, a million food stalls, and all the trinkets and geegads and whacamacallits that anyone would ever want. In December, though, when those lake winds blow, the pickins can get slim.
