Cafe Willem Slok is a classic example of a Dutch bar. They offer a nice selection of local beers and the interior has a very historical feeling to it. The bar is within walking distance from my house, the central station and the city centre.

The Dom Tower is the most iconic landmark of Utrecht. You can see it from nearly everywhere in the city. In the olden days it used to be attached to a church, but today just the tower stands. When the weather is good, the view from the top is absolutely stunning. Definitely worth a visit!

Miffy's traffic light is the most iconic pedestrian crossing in Utrecht. Aside from the Miffy figure on the signs, it also has a colourful rainbow zebra.

The Oudegracht ("old canal") is part of historic Utrecht. Along this canal, you'll find plenty of livelihood: shops, terraces, restaurants, historical buildings and what have you. You can't really miss it, since the city centre was built around it.
