Beautiful national park just outside Overveen, a short walk /bikeride from the house. Large dunes and forrest. A lake with excellent swimming water 'Het Wed' is a 2 min. walk from the entrance. It's is very nice and safe for ( little) children. Great for walking and biking.

Best beach around! White sandy beach with around 10 beachclubs for excellent beachlife, food and drinks. Pretty quiet and family friendly during daytime, in the weekends at night transforming into trendy dance clubs. Our Favorite for families; Rapa Nui.

Nice sweet water lake for swimming just outside Overveen in the National Park Kennemerduinen. Best for families with ( small) children. No current and hidden from the sometimes windy coast.

A must see. if you take a direct train from Overveen you arrive in the centre of the city within 25 minutes. No parking problems and all other public transport is centered around this station.
