Drinks & Nightlife
This place is a hole-in-the-wall dive bar but it's Dillon's favorite bar in the city. They host drag shows every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Some Sunday's they have strippers :O Drink prices are very reasonable, but it's in a less developed area of town, so we wouldn't recommend walking there. It's about a 12-15 minute car ride from our house.

Cool (gay) bar with nightly events. Tuesdays is Bingo (hosted by your host, Dillon), Wednesdays is free pool, Thursdays is dart tournament, and Fridays and Saturdays they have the dance floor open. Check their Facebook page for special events like dance parties and drag shows. This is the oldest gay bar in the city and has a long history of giving back to the community. Plus, their prices are great and their drinks are fairly strong.

Sightseeing
This monument marks the very center of our city. It's a good place to start for a walking tour of downtown. Most days, you can climb the stairs to the top (or take the elevator) for a great 360 view of the city. It's not too expensive either. Random fact: it's 15 feet shorter than the Statue of Liberty. Weird that we're recommending a cemetery, but it's actually a beautiful place to run, walk, bike or do some yoga during the summer. It's also our favorite place to be in the fall as the trees are just gorgeous. There are lots of famous people buried here including Benjamin Harrison and James Whitcomb Riley. In fact, the grave of James Whitcomb Riley is on the highest point in the city.
