Probably my favourite place to shop in downtown Toronto. It’s at the opposite corner of downtown, so about a 45 min walk from the house. It is easily walkable from Union St or King St West station.

This image is NOT what the store looks like. This particular location is a flagship store located at College and Church St’s. You can take the streetcar east in College or walk there in about 25 min. This is a very popular California-like supermarket.

This is at the top of the street beside the house. Walk north up to Bloor St. It’s about 6 short blocks and takes less than 15 min. Not a pretty store but it has what you need.

Chinese supermarket next to Swatow Chinese food restaurant. Not a pretty place but so cheap with lots of Asian foods you won’t find in regular grocery stores.
