For 4 generations, since Bennett Jannetta left Italy in 1908, Janetta's been producing much loved artisan gelato in St Andrews. Hugely popular with tourists & locals - seriously trumps Ben & Jerrys!

Pittenweem is a pretty fishing village where they host a BIG arts festival first week in August. They have a working waterfront and shops on the High Street. Here, they make homemade chocolate.

Recommend having dinner here on the way back home. Beautiful conservatory on entry, dimly lit dining area, good fresh food and an area outside where you can enjoy drinks alongside the river.

One of Scotland's oldest working water mills dating back to 1590's. Won the Best Scottish Bakery in BBC British Bake Off last Nov. Recommend this for lunch. Tell Rami, the man who runs it, I said hi!

House of Bruar is a very swanky place to shop. They offer the best of traditional Scottish food and design. Alongside the back of House of Bruar is Bruar Falls. Really lovely waterfall and walk.
