The hiking trail up to Skytop (New Paltz's main skyline feature) is family friendly and the view at the top is unbelievable. The Mountain House itself is pretty spectacular, too!

We rent 2017 Cannondale Trail 5 mountain bikes in sizes from x-small to x-large. These rental bikes are ideal for riding Minnewaska State Park, Mohonk, the Wallkill Rail Trail and even the Walkway Over The Hudson.
Rates (Please check with them for current rates)
-$40 for the whole day (while the bike shop is open)
-$25 for the afternoon (rented after 2pm)
– Reservations are recommended for weekends, and can only be taken for a FULL DAY BIKE RENTAL.
