Bike trails created by Bike Wanaka. Walking also an option but be careful. Great views with seating at the northern edge.

It will be very very busy over this period. Opens 7am - 9pm, get there early or late. Parking is tight and limited at times.

If you can't stand the thought of going to the supermarket, there is a Four Square and Night n Day quite close to each other. The petrol stations along the same stretch of road also have basic convenience food and there is a Mini Mart and Off Licence up near the Caltex.

Entertainment & Activities
This bi-annual event is a 'must do' if you have never been. Rarely are you allowed to get so close to an airshow, so, this is quite an experience. Held on the even years over the Easter weekend.

Hire a kayak or paddleboard and head out onto the lake for an hour or more. Obviously, conditions vary day to day.
