This is a great hidden spot! Hanneke's boom (tree) is great both indoor and outdoor. outdoor you can sit on the canal sides (dont fall in!) or on large wooden chairs / benches.

This is inside a repurposed tram remise! It's pretty large still. there are lots of small food vendor selling different kinds of food, like tapas.

Really nice place! This used to be toxic shipyard grounds, now repurposed for modern offices / startups, a yoga place and a really cool bar / restaurant.

Go here by ferry (veerpont) behind central station on a sunny day! the IJ promenade is not long, but runs from the ferry exit, restaurant, cafe, repurposed shell tower (music venue + edge swing) to the newly built EYE museum / cinema. Very nice view from EYE onto the river IJ and the boats passing by.

Not as busy as vondelpark but a really nice park still. has recently been redone in certain parts.

This is a great hidden spot where in summer lots of locals go to. Access to the water and loads of space to have a picknick!

Vondelpark
its the biggest and most popular park
This is a smaller but really nice park with lots of old repurposed gas factory buildings. they contain a cinema, restaurant, bars, jazz music venue, modern offices and a brewery.

Bouldering is awesome! accessible for young and old and every fitness level. you only need to rent climbing shoes and bring sports shorts. Monk is a great bouldergym which is usually pretty busy.
