This is the local beach for La Flotte, it's cute and not too big. Beach disappears completely in high tide.

This is a very nice beach, family friendly with shops at the entrance, gets busy though.

Entertainment & Activities
Well worth a visit, especially with younger children. You can easily spend 2 hours in the aquarium. Buses heading to La Rochelle run very regularly from La Flotte.
