Just the sweetest bakery/cafe around... and it's in W. Asheville - out of the hubbub of downtown. It will transport you to 1940's Paris with its ambience. May even make you shed a tear with their amazing pastries and breads. Coffee is on point. On a warm day, try their seasonal shrub, and on a cold day, try their butter chai...! No wifi here - focus on the treats and company instead.

Unassuming and attached to a gas station, this little restaurant has awesome breakfast. Great biscuits, delicious grits cates, good quality ingredients.

Always a hit for brunch or anytime - Sunny Point has been nationally recognized. Be prepared to wait, but they've got coffee for you while you do, and you can stroll in their garden with it ;) Lovely if you consider the wait a part of the whole experience.

The iconic Biltmore Estate speaks for itself. Make a day out of it with a full tour and stroll in the gardens, or just go to the winery... it's quite a picturesque and unique experience either way.

This is a beautiful haven for native plant species and lovely to walk around in, free and only minutes from the center of Asheville. Excellent place to picnic, dip your feet in the water, or just regroup.

Great for day drinking in the sun by the river. Bring the whole fam, bc there's soccer goals set up outside and kids playing... and always an awesome food truck on sight. You can't go wrong here!

Also in the center of the South Slope Brewery district, so if you'd like to go brewery hoping, this is a great jumping off point.
